Steinway arrived at Mellowdy’s!

“It was worth the wait!”, were my words after playing the new Steinway for the first time…

The way was long and exhausting, but Manuel and Simon, two strong men from the company spes-umzug.at from Vienna, were determined to take the last step and lift the Steinway & Sons Model O purchased from Piano Spengler into the recording studio. With the help of a forklift and other helpers, and an hour of utmost concentration, the grand piano was finally set up in its intended place.
In the end, we all had big smiles on our faces.

“What we do, we do with all our hearts”, says Manuel. For over 15 years him and Simon are on the road in Europe with pianos of all kinds speading joy.

The Steinway & Sons Model O is 180cm long and fits well with the size of Mellowdy Studios’ live room. The first recordings were great. I hope many more artists will find inspiration in this gem and give their art the expression they want.
